Mar 01, 2018 · When I say it thinks there is no internet connection, you can open up a browser and go anywhere, can ping any site/address but it still says there is no connection. I would normally just ignore this and move on, but outlook (2013 and 2016) will not connect and go offline. these are static IP machines and can ping them with no problem. Specifically I was having the same "no Internet connection" when connecting Ring cameras. So the set up of the Ring camera was not possible. I un-plugged the wireless camera DVR and tried to connect. All of a sudden no Internet problems and for the first time the ring cameras connected. Plug back in the wireless camera DVR and all is working. The computer says I am connected to my wifi network but have no internet access. After running a diagnostic it was recommended that I reboot the router, but that did not help. I tried restoring my computer to an earlier time, before I lost the internet and that did not help either.
